Open Access Endoscopic Procedures

At GastrotrACT, we take pride ourselves on providing the highest level of care for all patients both pre and post endoscopy according to the current Colonoscopy clinical care standards. 

The specialists we support offer open access endoscopy for patients where appropriate, mostly for asymptomatic conditions such as positive faecal occult blood test, iron deficiency and rectal bleeding. 

Patients with significant symptoms, or complex medical needs, often benefit from consultation prior to procedure to discuss those symptoms and provide appropriate investigations and ongoing management.

All referrals, including open access are triaged by both our nurses and consulting gastroenterologists to ensure the most appropriate care for each patient.
